In the midst of the moonshot — Fort Worth Magazine
Graphic Identity for feature story
About
Renowned as "the definitive resource for where to eat, what to do, and what's happening in Fort Worth," Fort Worth Magazine has been a trusted voice in the community for over 25 years. Their October 2024 issue highlighted Fort Worth’s significant contributions to cancer research, exploring President Biden’s initiatives and drawing thought-provoking parallels to President Kennedy’s iconic "Moonshot" campaign. Seeking a creative way to connect cancer research with lunar themes, I drew inspiration from vintage chemistry book covers. The petri dishes in the design symbolize both the phases of cancer research and the cycles of the moon, creating a visual narrative that bridges science and aspiration.
