Ranger Creek Brewing and Distilling is known for its craft whiskey and creative beer brews. Wanting to challenge themselves and expand their market, they came to O&H Brand Design to help them launch an unaged spirit line, starting with rum. They wanted Ranger Creek Rum to feel premium and unique, but have a nod to its Texas roots.

Finding the connection between a Western mythical creature— the jackalope— and the double meaning of “spirit”, an illustrative yet refined icon was born. This wild creature is presented in a unique and elegant way, telling a familiar story in a new tone.
